We have reinforced our exceptionally high standards and set out new guidelines to keep everyone safe when running events at Imperial Venues. The large event spaces allow for effective social distancing, whilst additional safety procedures and deep-cleaning protocols have been added to achieve a high level of cleanliness.
Please see below for further information and guidance on the measures we are taking for your safety.
Sensor operated hand sanitisers are located at the entrance points of each building. The cleaning schedule has been increased and is focused on communal areas and common “touch points” such as door handles and lift calling points.
Health and Safety officers have implemented new room capacities in order to adhere to the 2m social distancing guidelines. To help with the flow of persons around buildings, one-way entrances and exits are clearly sign-posted.
We are introducing a local contact-tracing procedure, which will interface with the NHS’s Test and Trace service. This means that any local instances can be quickly dealt with and contacts traced to prevent further spread of the virus.
Perspex screens are installed at key points that require face to face interaction. Floor markings are being added to facilitate the 2m social distancing requirements. On-campus, wearing a face-covering is essential in most locations.
